Black Light Test

With Light City back this week, I thought it might be fun to play a little with illumination for the home game.

That is a set of Tragic Royalty cards from Bicycle, along with the pink and blue chips, under black light. The deck is great for hearts and diamonds in those conditions, not so much for spades and clubs.

The neat thing was how well the chips did. In the set, most edge spots are day-glo, and they certainly pop under the UV light.

Here is the set of all chips in normal white light, and then under day-glo.

In the photo, the blue and red are distinct from black and pink, but the camera picks up what my eyes cannot. I see no difference between those two with the naked eye.

Eyes droop and he peers from meer slits
Long gone the usual insight and wit
then a raise unexpected
the pot is collected
How long will he keep up this shit?
