You love running contests with your crew. Contests bring people closer together, give them something fun to look forward to every year, and deliver action.
If you could offer more contests to your crew, you know they would take you up on the offer. But how much time and energy can you spend, creating another spreadsheet, finding another site, setting up another collection email?
Degen.club knows the hassle because we had the same problem for years. Our founder, Steve, was happy to run a full set of events over the course of the year. But, invariably, he would end up scrambling to find last year's info to copy it, harassing everyone to submit their funds on time, or worst of all starting over from scratch. You can see him running the computers at the annual NCAA tournament auction in the photo here while the Viscount gets all the glory as the auctioneer. The event is always fun. The execution is a chore.
After getting a bunch of us to join a picks contest in Las Vegas, Steve couldn’t resist building an ancillary Web site just for us to track pick choices to relay to a proxy and to host “contests within the contest.” That’s when Steve decided to migrate all the group's activities into one place: Degen.club was born.
Launching with football contests first, Steve will be adding brackets contests and a tournament auction (Calcutta) when the calendar turns. And there will be more to come.
So join us and get your crew their own club at Degen.club and give them all the action they can handle.
